Welcome to Blooming in the Light

 

Welcome to my blog!  Here is a little piece of the internet for me to share my favorite things with you.  I am a Catholic homeschooling mom of two.  Our family loves the traditional Latin Mass and praying together.  We have a standard dachshund named Rocket and an orange and white tabby named Leo.  

You may know me from my old brand What Laura Likes, which ran from 2018 to 2022.  

Life is quieter now.  But I still desire to share what I find with others, to bless them, and to help them on this walk.  

Why "Blooming in the Light"?  Recently I have found my true peace and joy, the peace that only Christ can give and the joy that comes from that peace.  In that peace and joy there lives light: a light-heartedness, an internal light, and a light that desires to pour itself out on others.  That light comes from Christ, who says "I am the light of the world." And when we live in His Light, we becomes the Saints we were made to be. 

With that said, we are all still a work in progress, a beautiful flower opening to His Way, Truth, and Life and as such, we are blooming as we open up to have eyes to see and ears to hear.  

I wanted a little place on the internet to share my favorite things, to create a place to guide others to the Truth of our Catholic Faith, and to just chat as the Holy Ghost calls me to fellowship with you.  

I can't wait to hear from you.  I've missed you all.
